TPU has advantages such as high strength, high elasticity, and minimal permanent deformation. Its wear resistance is 8 times that of rubber synchronous belts, and its hygiene performance is excellent. It is gradually replacing rubber synchronous belts in industries such as food and medical that require high cleanliness. During this period, the structural design of polyurethane industrial belts was continuously optimized, and the division of labor between the belt back, tensile layer, and teeth became clearer. The sharp groove design of the belt back not only improved the flexural fatigue performance, but also reduced the operating noise. The tensile layer used high-strength steel wire rope or Kevlar cable to ensure the pitch stability of the belt.
