The structure of the conveyor belt is mainly composed of a tensile layer (framework) and a covering layer (protective layer). The frame is divided into two types: fabric and metal.
Because the tensile layer (framework) bears all the load during work, it must have a certain degree of strength and rigidity.
The function of the covering layer (protective layer) is to protect the tensile layer (framework) from direct impact, wear, corrosion and other factors to prevent early damage to the tensile layer (framework).
(1) The structure of the fabric core conveyor belt
Fabrics include cotton canvas (CC), nylon canvas (NN―nylon canvas), polyester nylon canvas (EP―polyester canvas). The fabric core conveyor belt is divided into laminated (multi-layer) belt cores and integral (single-layer) belts. Two kinds of cores.
1. Structure of laminated fabric core conveyor belt
The laminated fabric core conveyor belt is mainly composed of: a belt core composed of multiple layers of canvas, upper and lower covering layers and edge glue as shown in the figure below. The tension of each layer of canvas must be consistent when laminating.
2. The structure of the integral fabric core conveyor belt
The integral fabric core conveyor belt is composed of a single layer of fabric and upper and lower covering layers, which has high flame retardancy and is mainly suitable for places where coal is transported underground in coal mines.
(2) The structure of the metal core conveyor belt
1. Structure of steel cord conveyor belt
It is suitable for long-distance transportation of logistics and has the characteristics of high strength and long life.
2. The structure of steel mesh core conveyor belt
Mainly used in the ultra-high temperature environment (resistance to burning) in the steel industry.
