On August 12, 2025, Uliflex Foshan Company invited a safety production training team with professional qualifications to provide safety production training to all employees. Since its establishment, Uliflex has always adhered to the highest production principle of "employee safety" and regularly organizes safety production training activities on different themes.
The theme of this safety production training is: how to prevent work-related injuries during the production process and how to provide assistance in case of work-related injuries. Firstly, the team responsible for safety production training will organize all employees to explain the precautions for safety production through text, images, and video content. For example, if a machine is accidentally touched during operation, it should be powered off in a timely manner, and the workshop emergency team should immediately handle injuries and report to the emergency team; The difference between household voltage and enterprise production area voltage (household voltage: 220V, enterprise voltage: 380V); How to deal with a fire in the production workshop; How to ensure life safety when encountering special geological disasters, etc.
During the explanation of these precautions, all employees had lively and interesting interactions with the training team. When encountering a fire in the production workshop, different extinguishing methods should be selected based on the material of the object on fire :
1. Immediately assess the risk and report to the police : Once a fire is detected, the fire alarm will be triggered first, notifying all personnel to evacuate and calling 119 for assistance; When reporting an alarm, it is necessary to specify the location of the fire, the burning material, and the situation of the trapped personnel. If the height of the fire exceeds 3 meters or there is a risk of explosion (such as chemical leakage), do not attempt to extinguish the fire and must evacuate immediately.
When evacuating, follow the safe passage, cover your mouth and nose with a wet towel, bend down and move forward in a low posture, and it is strictly prohibited to use the elevator.
2. Determine if it is suitable for initial fire extinguishing : Only attempt to extinguish the fire when it is in the initial stage (area less than 3 square meters) and there is no risk of explosion.
3. Before extinguishing the fire, it is necessary to quickly identify the type of fire source :
Solid material fire (Class A fire): such as wood, paper, etc., priority should be given to using dry powder fire extinguishers to aim at the root of the flame and spray.
Liquid or electrical fires (Class B, Class E fires): such as oil, solvents, or live equipment, carbon dioxide fire extinguishers must be used, and water or conductive fire extinguishers should be avoided.
Preventive measures as a foundation: Ensure that fire exits are unobstructed (with a width of not less than 1.2 meters), regularly check the pressure of fire extinguishers (with the pointer in the green area), and prevent unauthorized wiring, illegal hot work, and other behaviors.
Ultimately, priority should be given to selecting standard fire extinguishing equipment (such as dry powder fire extinguishers for general use and carbon dioxide fire extinguishers for electrical hazards)
In addition to explaining how to handle a fire in the workshop, this safety production training also organized a professional team to guide employees on how to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation when colleagues are unconscious.
1. Assessment and Call for Help: Ensure environmental safety, lightly tap the shoulders and call the patient if there is no response, immediately call for help and dial 120.
2. Chest compressions: Quickly press the midpoint of the line connecting the two nipples, with a depth of 5-6 centimeters, at a frequency of 100-120 times per minute, for 30 consecutive compressions (with the arms perpendicular and the chest fully rebounding).
3. Open the airway: Clean up foreign objects in the mouth and nose, and use the method of lifting the chin with one hand (pressing the forehead with one hand and lifting the chin with the other hand) to open the airway.
4. Artificial respiration: Pinch the nose, tightly wrap the mouth and mouth, and blow air for more than 1 second until the chest is lifted (blowing volume of 400-600 milliliters), a total of 2 times.
5. Repeat cycle: Press to breath ratio of 30:2, evaluate breathing and pulse every 5 groups (about 2 minutes) until the patient recovers or rescue arrives.
Also, how to perform Heimlich emergency treatment when encountering a foreign object stuck in the throat :
1. First aid for adults or children who can stand (Heimlich method)
· Rescue steps :
· Stand behind the patient and wrap your arms around their waist.
· Make a fist with one hand, with the eye of the fist inserted above the patient's navel (about two fingers wide).
· Wrap your fist in your other hand and quickly punch your abdomen inward and upward with force, repeating 5 times.
· If the foreign object is not expelled, alternate back tapping method: have the patient lean forward and quickly tap the back between the shoulder blades 5 times with the base of the palm.
· Key point: The impact depth should be sufficient to generate airflow and expel foreign objects, avoiding damage to the ribs.
2. First aid for infants or those who cannot stand
· Rescue steps (for infants only) :
· Lie the baby prone on the forearm, with the head below the chest, and support the lower jaw with your hand.
· Tap the middle area of the scapula on the back with the base of your palm 5 times (raise 30-40 centimeters).
· If ineffective, flip the baby upside down and press the center of the chest (below the nipple line) with two fingers, quickly pressing down 5 times.
· Repeat back tapping and chest compressions until the foreign object is expelled or rescue arrives.
· Key point: Use gentle and gentle movements to avoid excessive force that may cause visceral damage.
3. Self rescue methods (when no one is assisting)
· Immediately call 120 emergency number and try coughing to expel foreign objects.
· If coughing is ineffective, use your fist to press against the upper part of your belly button and quickly push your abdomen inward and upward; Or find a hard object (such as a chair back) to withstand the abdominal impact.
After this 2-hour safety production training, all employees benefited greatly from the training methods such as graphic and video explanations, on-site simulated real person demonstrations of treatment methods, etc. They expressed their gratitude for arranging this training for the company.
Uliflex's corporate culture emphasizes "people-oriented", adopts the principle of "zero tolerance" for production safety, attaches importance to the safety and work ability improvement of employees, continuously optimizes production management processes, provides the best quality industrial belts for customers, and contributes to China's intelligent manufacturing.
The Uliflex team flew from Foshan, Guangdong to Beijing to participate in the 34th China International Glass Industry Technology Exhibition from May 26 to 29, 2025.
If you want to measure v-belts for replacement, follow some steps. First, look at your v belt type. Next, write down the width and depth. Then, measure or figure out the length. These facts help you get the right v-belt part number. Measuring right is important for DIY users and professionals. Here are some common problems:
Yes, v belts do stretch over time, especially when you first start using them. You might notice this with any belt, whether in an industrial setting or on a smaller machine. The main reasons come from the material of the belt, the stress during operation, and changes in the environment. When you use v belts, you face several common issues that cause a belt to stretch:
The average timing belt replacement cost in 2025 is $860 to $1,260. You should know this because waiting too long can hurt your engine. It can also cause surprise bills. Many drivers do not know that timing belts wear out on purpose. They must be changed at certain times. The table below shows that timing belt replacement costs are different for each car:
You can see many conveyor belts in factories today. Each kind has its own job and fits certain needs. The most popular types are roller bed, flat belt, modular, cleated, curved, and incline/decline conveyor belts. The table below shows how these types do in the market:
A conveyor belt carries things from one spot to another. You can see conveyor belts in factories, warehouses, and airports. The worldwide conveyor system market is growing quickly. It will be worth over $10 billion in 2024. Many businesses need conveyor belts to keep work going. You might see conveyor belts in food processing, electronics, recycling, logistics, and car assembly.
Many customers who are not familiar with industrial belts ask Uliflex: What is the difference between PU endless timing industrial belts and PU joined timing industrial belt. In fact, there is a significant difference between PU endless timing belts and PU joined timing belts. The root of these diff
